We recommend keeping your tables as simple as possible to avoid frustration and confusion.

Add a Table

Step 1

Using your login details, logon to the CMS at cms.mywork.com.au

Click Pages


Step 2

Click on the Page you want to add a table to (underlined text)


Step 3

Click on the Inserts A New Table icon


Step 4

Enter in the number of Columns and Rows for the table

All of these options can be modified later if need be

Click Insert


Step 5

Enter in your table content by clicking in each individual cell at a time


The above table will appear like this on your website:

Our Services Cost
Lawn Mowing $10 hour
Hedge Trimming $15 hour
Pest Control $10 hour


Add and Delete Columns and Rows

 Top

Click in the table where you want to add or delete a Column or Row

Hover over the below icons to determine which one to use

Simply click on the desired icon




From left to right:

Add row above current selected row
Add row below current selected row
Delete current selected row
Add column to the left of selected column
Add column to the right of selected column
Delete selected column

Merging Multiple Cells

 Top

Click and highight the cels you want to merge

Click the Merge Table Cells icon



Adding Borders and Background Colour

 Top

Click in the cell you want to add a border and/or background colour to

Click on Table Cell Properties


Click the Advanced tab at the top

Select the border and/or background colour

OPTIONAL: Select from the bottom left drop down menu to either update the whole row or table with the border and/or background colour

Click Insert


Adding Cell Width and Height

 Top

Click in the cell you want to add a defined width and/or height to

Click on Table Cell Properties

Enter the defined width and/or height

NOTE: These dimensions are in pixels (px) - as a rule of thumb, your website is approx. 930px wide

OPTIONAL: Select from the bottom left drop down menu to either update the whole row or table with the defined width and/or height

Click Insert


Cellpadding and Cellspacing

 Top

After clicking in the table, click on the Inserts A New Table icon


Enter the Cellpadding and Cellspacing

Cellpadding: This is the space around the text or image within a cell

Cellspacing: This is the space between each cell. For a table with borders, "0" is the best setting to use.

Click Insert
