Although good Meta Data is important, it is only one of many things that contribute to your ranking on Google. Just because you have good Meta Data will not ensure you rank well on Google, however it will help with the overall process.

Your Home Page Meta Data will be inserted by MyWork when your website is created. Adding addtional Page Meta Data is optional and you can easily add these via the instructions below.

Using your login details, logon to the CMS at cms.mywork.com.au
Under Dev, click Home Page Meta Data

Meta Keywords
Enter search words or terms that you think your target market will search for on Google. It is important to note that Google no longer uses Meta Keywords to rank websites. Therefore in large part Meta Keywords are now irrelevant. This is explained in Google's Webmaster Blog.

For example, if you ran a landscaping business, you could have keywords such as landscaping, lawn mowing, lawn care, hedge trimming.

Click Pages then select the page your would like to add meta data to
